Getting BIG!

Wyatt has been spending 20 - 30 minutes a day in his play gym.  He loves it.  He reached for the toys for the very first time today... and he did it over and over again.  It's amazing how quickly they grow up and change.  In one hand I am so thankful he is so easily meeting his milestones, but on the other it makes me sad that he is growing up so fast.  But most of all I am just grateful he is doing so well!

Family Resemblance?

When I was organizing the family room, I stumbled across some pictures of John and I when we were little.  I noticed a resemblance between John & Julia AND Wyatt & myself.  But I will let you be the judge.

Bed Head

This is a pic of Julia right after waking up this morning.  I posted this picture for 2 reasons; 1)  It's too cute not to  2)  It serves as proof that Julia has inherited Grandpa Lee's crazy hair.  Just kidding Dad!

She's mommy's little HELPER

Julia likes to be a part of everything that involves Wyatt.  We were getting ready to run errands on Monday, which with two children has proven to be more of a production than one .. not that I'm complaining.  So everyone had baths and they were on the living room floor and I was getting Wyatt dressed and Julia rolled over to help me get him ready.... really she was playing with his clothes but she handed them to me when I asked for them.   When it was time for him to get into his car seat she rolled up to the car seat and held onto the handle to keep him company because he was upset about having to be in the car seat.  What a nice girl!!!

ROLLING!!

She is not crawling or walking yet but she has mobility.   Rolling; she has mastered this skill.  I turned my back to get the wipes off the coffee table to wipe the cookie remnants from her hands and face and she had rolled over to the picture frames we were assembling to hang up in their room.  It is definitely time to completely baby proof the house.  That will be my goal for this weekend.

Self Feeding

Julia has taken a big interest in self feeding.  In fact she would prefer to DO IT HERSELF all the time, which results in many baths and outfit changes.  But that is how we learn!   The top pictures are right after eating a cookie, so good and messy!
